Four ancient copies of the Hieronymian martyrology begin this 23rd of April with these words: On the 9th of the Kalends of May In Africa the birthday of SS. Catulinus, Saturninus, Chorus, Felix, Theonas, Theodorus, Victorinus, Venustus, Victurus, Nabor, Solutus, Plenus, Silvius, likewise Felix, Vitalis, Theodora, Faustinus, Salunus, Valerius, Ursus. Of these only Solunus is missing in one copy, and on the contrary in another there was S. George added, about whom we treat separately. There is some slight diversity in a few around the writing: for instead of Chori, is also read Cori and Ghori; instead of Naboris, Navoris; and instead of Theodorae, Theodori. Mention of some of these is also found in other Martyrologies, and indeed in a double Ms. of Trier of S. Maximinus and another Barberinian these are read: In Africa the birthday of SS. Catulinus, Felix, Theodorus, Venustus. The Reichenau and Rheinau Mss. have: In Africa of Catulinus, Saturninus, Felix. The Augsburg and Labbean Mss.: Africa Catulini, Victoris, Ursi. With Palaestra omitted, in the Aachen Ms. thus are held: Catulini, Victoris, Ursi, Naboris, Dilenni, perhaps for this Pleni, which is read above. The three first are mentioned also with Greven in the Auctarium of Usuard.
