This is the last class, proposed in four copies of the Hieronymian Martyrology in these words: "At Antioch of Thimia, Maurus, Attus the Deacon, Gennosus, and Sodalis." Of these the first two in the Reichenau manuscript or of Augia Dives near Constance are indicated thus: "At Antioch of Timia, Maurus." In the Augsburg manuscript of Saint Udalric, and the Parisian of Labbe, Thimia and Sodalis are commemorated, with no palaestra of martyrdom indicated. In the writing some diversity is found, for Thimia, Thymia, Timia, and Thunica is written; Attus also Arrus; Gennosus, Genosus, Genonsus; as Sodalis, Sotalis, and Sodolis. To us it is more pleasing that Timia be read as a feminine from "Τίμιος," venerable: as for the rest we adhere to the consistent writing of the Hieronymian copies, though we fear lest Arius has been transformed into Attus, Generosa into Gennosa, by copyists. Nor shall I conceal another scruple, namely lest either from the class of the Ajovian Martyrs two have been wrongly joined to these Antiochene heroines, or those to be joined to these have been badly transferred to those and thus doubled in the Martyrologies; namely Maurus the same in both places, and the other in both places a Deacon; here Attus, there called Captus or Castus. Yet deferring much to antiquity, we represent them just as we find them, under such a caution and expression of our ambiguity.
