A brief notice of the otherwise unattested martyrs Primianus, two Saturnini, Victor, Honoratus, Leucius, and Hermes, known only from the manuscript Martyrology of St. Jerome.

CONCERNING THE HOLY MARTYRS PRIMIANUS, SATURNINUS, ANOTHER SATURNINUS, VICTOR, HONORATUS, LEUCIUS, AND HERMES.

Commentary

Primianus, Martyr (St.) Hermes, Martyr (St.) Honoratus, Martyr (St.) Leucius, Martyr (St.) Saturninus, Martyr (St.) Victor, Martyr (St.)

We have received notice of these martyrs, not observed elsewhere, from the same manuscript Martyrology of St. Jerome, in which the following is found: "Papa, of Primianus, Saturninus. Likewise of Saturninus, Victor, Honoratus, Leucius, Hermes." Whether that "Papa" was written for "Papia" by the one who expanded that Martyrology, or whether it signifies a man's name, we have not determined.
