After St. Victor the Martyr of Milan related in the first place, of these is treated in the ancient apographs of the Hieronymian Martyrology, and in the most ancient Epternac these things are read: In Africa of Euticus, Furtunatus, Saturninus, Marcia. In other three apographs: the place of contest Africa is lacking, and in the Lucensis these things are had: Milan of Victor, of whom it has been treated, of Euticus, Maria, Fortunatus, Saturninus. But in the MS. Blumian is read Martiae, which name could not be read entirely in the MS. Corbeian. Africa as the place of martyrdom for them is confirmed by the MS. Reichenau, where between these and Victor suffering at Milan others are interposed in this manner. At Milan of S. Victor the Martyr, and at Nicomedia of Maximus the Presbyter. Africa of Euticus, Fortunatus, Saturninus. Moreover in the Acts of S. Victor, no mention is made of these, accordingly there is nothing which suggests them to be joined to him, whom in the exemplar of the first antiquity we have found separated. In the very ancient codex of S. Sabinus of Levitania, in Saussay in the excerpts of the Gallican Martyrology page 1248 these things are read on day VI of this month. On the same day of S. Pallachius the Bishop, of Euticus and Marcia, of Saturninus. Of these Pallachius, in others Palladius, and Palatius; is Helladius or Eladius, Bishop of Auxerre, also to be related below on this day. But to the three related there from others is added Fortunatus, read in the MS. Augustan of S. Udalric, and the Parisian of Labbé, with Eutychius or Eusychius, who above is called Euticus, to whom in the Augustan is joined Saturninus. In the MS. Tamlactensis among the Hibernians, Euticus omitted, are read the names of Fortunatus, Saturninus and Marcia.
