This is the fourth class of Martyrs in the ancient Martyrology of St. Jerome printed at Paris; and it is thus indicated: At Thessalonica, of Euphrasius, Alexander, Frunimus, Basilius. The same, with Basilius omitted, is read in the three other copies of the same St. Jerome. In the manuscript of the Queen of Sweden, published by Lucas Holstein in his Observations on the Roman Martyrology, it reads thus: At Thessalonica, of Alexander with two others. The Tournai manuscript: At Thessalonica, the birthday of SS. Alexander and Euphrosius and St. Frunimus. The first two are related also in the Laetian manuscript, but attributed to Alexandria by error. But with no place appended, mention is made of Euphrosius, Alexander and Frunimus in the Tamlactensian manuscript among the Irish, the Parisian manuscript of Philip Labbé, and the Augustan of St. Ulrich, though in the latter Euphrasia is written, and Nimi instead of Frunimus. Likewise mention of Euphrosius and Alexander is made in the Prague manuscript. But of Euphrosicus alone in the Aachen manuscript, who in Felicius is Euphragius.
